OK, this can be a controversial subject, and DEFINING PRAYER can be a study on its own. MANY PEOPLE don’t even like to talk about it for fear of being ‘too religious’, or BELONGING to one of those ‘organized religions’. (BTW – most of us belong to some organized group, be it through Social Media, certain fields of vocations, Meet-up groups, political parties, and the like – they all have some sort of rules that we have to ATTEND.)
Now, Science has taken a SECOND LOOK at the POWER OF PRAYER, and that seems to make it NOT so SCARY for people. If there is a scientific explanation rather than a metaphysical explanation it feels more ‘REAL’. Yet, many people belong to Law of Attraction groups, speak of seeing more Orbs in pictures (you know, those bubble-like things that show up in a picture but weren’t there when you took the picture), sparkly specks that you see for a split second and you almost wonder if you even saw them (you did). With more information about Quantum Physics, people feel a RELIEF TO KNOW there is a ‘scientific explanation’ about these things. Whew! But, I digress….
An article in a popular magazine wrote about the HEALING Power of Prayer, and included an excerpt on a US study on FAITH that uncovered UNEXPLAINABLE healings. Scientists are discovering that THOSE WHO PRACTICE their faith (i.e. they go to church, or pray on a regular basis, which could INCLUDE MEDITATION) have lower blood pressure, HEAL MORE QUICKLY from surgeries and/or illness, have BETTER OUTCOMES from coronary diseases, lung issues were less, and there were fewer suicides. There was a considerable DIFFERENCE IN LIFE EXPECTANCIES between those who never attend church and those who attend regularly. This holds true for those who are not able to pray for themselves, i.e. in a coma, in surgery, etc., and they did not even need to know someone was praying for them for the prayers to be EFFECTIVE.
The Healing Code makes claims that their system (channeled (sic) through Dr. Alex Loyd) has passed the ‘gold standard’ Heart Rate Variability (HRV) testing, and that PEOPLE remain IN BALANCE long after they’ve done the code. Without delving too much into THEIR SYSTEM, I will say that the Code begins with a prayer about what the person wants healed. I have prayed for my clients for years, they aren’t ALWAYS AWARE that I do, and it isn’t necessary for them to know about it unless they want to. Sometimes it is as SIMPLE as “Lord, I don’t know what this person needs, but You do. Please GUIDE my work. Let us both be able to HANDLE what shows up.” My motto has been, “I treat, God Heals”, and I make no apologies for my BELIEFS.
HEALINGS HAPPEN DAILY, and sometimes we don’t RECOGNIZE THEM right away. They can be physical, and that is what many people think healing is about, but it can be in a mental/emotional place, or on the Soul level. In any case, WE ARE ONE Being created in three parts that CANNOT BE SEPARATED; mind, body, and soul. Therefore, if healing occurs in one area, it will affect the other two areas. Not to worry, when healing happens, YOU WILL FEEL IT in some form. It HAS BEEN RECORDED that the healing can happen throughout THE FAMILY LINE, as well. Illness is ancestral – (refer to my article on Reincarnation) – and healing can follow THE SAME PATHWAY.

“May YOU BE FILLED with the LIGHT, LIFE, and LOVE OF GOD. May the ANGELS be always AT YOUR SIDE, to Light, to Guard, to Rule and Guide you, and to KEEP YOU FROM STUMBLING. May God gently show you YOUR TRUE PATH, and give you ALL YOU NEED to follow it. May God give you Peace, Abundance, and Prosperity, and may you return the favor by SHOWing GRATITUDE and PAYing IT FORWARD.” So Be It.
